7 Brew Fox Valley: What We Know So Far

Three upcoming stands could bring another coffee option closer to your routine. Here’s where St. Charles, Yorkville and Montgomery stand, including the opening targets we know so far.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Three upcoming 7 Brew locations are documented in St. Charles, Yorkville and Montgomery. St. Charles’s Prairie Centre and Yorkville’s Kendall Marketplace sites are under construction, with late-2026 opening targets. Montgomery lists a stand coming soon to Ogden Hill. None of the three has a confirmed opening day in the reviewed sources.

  • St. Charles: Prairie Centre on Route 38, east of Randall Road.
  • Yorkville: Kendall Marketplace at 938 Edward Lane.
  • Montgomery: Ogden Hill, with opening timing still unconfirmed.

You probably already know where you’re stopping for coffee tomorrow. A favorite order has a way of becoming part of the route. So when another drive-through starts going up nearby, the question gets personal pretty quickly: would you switch?

7 Brew has three upcoming sites worth watching across this part of the Fox River Valley. Two have construction underway. The third appears on Montgomery’s official coming-soon list. That gives you something concrete to follow while the opening announcements are still ahead.

Where are the new 7 Brew locations coming to the Fox Valley?

THREE SITES TO WATCH

The three upcoming sites covered here are Prairie Centre in St. Charles, Kendall Marketplace in Yorkville, and Ogden Hill in Montgomery. Each has a different local source behind it. Kensington confirms St. Charles construction. Yorkville reports building progress. Montgomery identifies 7 Brew on its municipal development page.

Town and site Verified status Opening timing
St. Charles: Prairie Centre, Route 38 Under construction Late-2026 target
Yorkville: Kendall Marketplace, 938 Edward Lane Under construction; building up Late-2026 target
Montgomery: Ogden Hill Municipal coming-soon listing No confirmed date

For the Tri-Cities, Prairie Centre is the location to keep in mind. You’ll find the development along Lincoln Highway, also called Route 38, east of Randall Road. That matters if you’ve heard the St. Charles project described as being at Charlestowne Mall. Prairie Centre is a different site.

Farther south, Yorkville’s report puts its stand at the main signalized entrance to Kendall Marketplace near Route 34 and Isabel Drive. In Montgomery, Ogden Hill is the shopping-center name attached to the village’s announcement. The municipal listing supports coming-soon status without giving an opening day.

You can also use the site names to sort out a regional headline that sounds bigger than your own neighborhood. An existing northern stand and a future southern stand are different updates. Keeping each town attached to its status makes it easier to tell whether you’re looking at somewhere you can visit today or somewhere you’re still waiting to try.

Bottom line: You have three specific places to watch. Keep the construction updates for St. Charles and Yorkville separate from Montgomery’s coming-soon announcement.

When could St. Charles and Yorkville open?

TARGETS WITH ROOM TO CHANGE

St. Charles and Yorkville are targeting late 2026, according to the developer announcement and city report reviewed for this update. Neither source gives a confirmed opening day. Montgomery’s current development listing offers no comparable opening window, so you should keep its timing separate from those two construction projects.

Kensington’s St. Charles announcement says the Prairie Centre project has broken ground and projects a late-2026 opening. In Yorkville, the September activity report says 7 Brew broke ground in early August and the building is up. It retains the intention to open in late 2026.

That progress gives you a reason to pay attention now. A target still leaves a practical question unanswered: when can you actually pull into the drive-through and order? A specific opening announcement would answer that. For Montgomery, the next useful update would also clarify timing beyond the village’s coming-soon listing.

Bottom line: Late 2026 is the target for two sites. Save your first-visit plans for a confirmed opening announcement.

What could this change about your everyday coffee stop?

YOUR ROUTINE GETS A VOTE

These upcoming stands could put another drive-through choice closer to your usual errands. You can already find official 7 Brew locations in Algonquin, Carpentersville and Huntley. Crystal Lake and Naperville also have existing stands. The three upcoming sites extend the places you can watch for a future stop.

If you’re in Geneva or Batavia, you may care most about the St. Charles location. If your errands take you through Yorkville or Montgomery, the southern sites may be more relevant. Your own route will decide whether any of them becomes convenient enough to try.

A drive-through can fit a quick errand. Your local shop might be where you want to sit and catch up. You get to decide which kind of stop you want that day, even as another brand adds locations nearby.

Will that change your loyalty to Dunkin’, Starbucks or your local coffee shop? That’s the fun question. The available announcements don’t measure which business will gain customers or how anyone else will respond. You can welcome another option and still have a favorite independent shop you want people to know about.

Questions I Get Asked a Lot

Where are the new 7 Brew locations coming to the Fox Valley?

Three documented upcoming 7 Brew sites are Prairie Centre on Route 38 in St. Charles, Kendall Marketplace in Yorkville, and Ogden Hill in Montgomery. As of October 20, 2026, St. Charles and Yorkville are under construction. Montgomery’s official development page lists 7 Brew as coming soon. These are the three sites covered in this update, rather than an exhaustive regional inventory.

When will 7 Brew open in St. Charles and Yorkville?

St. Charles and Yorkville are targeting late 2026, but the sources reviewed October 20 do not establish confirmed opening days. Kensington gives that target for Prairie Centre. Yorkville’s September activity report says the Kendall Marketplace stand intends to open in late 2026. Check for a specific opening announcement before planning your first visit.

Is the St. Charles 7 Brew going to Charlestowne Mall?

The documented St. Charles 7 Brew project is at Prairie Centre along Lincoln Highway, also called Route 38, east of Randall Road. It is not the Charlestowne Mall site on the east side of St. Charles. Kensington’s construction announcement identifies Prairie Centre and projects a late-2026 opening, without confirming a specific day.

Does the Montgomery 7 Brew have an opening date?

The Village of Montgomery lists 7 Brew as coming soon to Ogden Hill. The reviewed municipal listing does not give an opening date, and this update does not establish a reliable opening window for that site. The late-2026 targets discussed for St. Charles and Yorkville should not be applied to Montgomery.

Which nearby 7 Brew locations are already open?

Official 7 Brew stand pages identify existing locations in Algonquin, Carpentersville, Huntley, Crystal Lake, and Naperville. Those five locations provide nearby context for the expansion discussed here. They are separate from the three upcoming sites, and they do not represent a count of every operating stand in northern Illinois. Check the official locator for current hours before making a special trip.

This local-news update reflects sources reviewed October 20, 2026. Construction progress and opening targets may change. The three upcoming sites are the documented projects covered here, not an exhaustive regional total. No confirmed opening day was established for any of the three.

Stay tuned for the opening news.

Which of these will open its drive-through first? We’ll see what the next announcements bring. In the meantime, name your town and defend your coffee spot. Are you trying 7 Brew, sticking with your usual chain, or sending everyone to a local favorite?
